CHICAGO RIVER NORTH DEVELOPMENTS

River North Commons, River Place on the Park, River Village, and Huron Pointe are a series of four structures built in Chicago’s River North district between 2001 and 2009.  In total, there are 680 condominium units in the four buildings.  In his role as Chief Development Officer for the Enterprise Development Company, Mr. Groesbeck was responsible for overseeing the design and construction of these projects from inception to completion, River North is a fast-growing residential area just north of the Chicago Loop business district which offers a mix of converted loft buildings as well as new high-rise infills and supported by a vibrant restaurant, bar and boutique retail scene.

History

River North Commons is located on the site of the original Stiffel Lamp Factory.  This 200-unit loft project in River North serves as a driving force behind the progression of community improvements and residential opportunities.

Huron Pointe is a 15-story high-rise development comprising 100 condominium units located in River North at the corner of Hudson and Huron Streets.  The property was once the parking lot for the adjacent, well-known Stiffel Lamp Factory.  Keeping in line with the changing neighborhood, the building has a contemporary flair.

River Place on the Park is a 20-story high-rise featuring 200 condo units located along the north branch of the Chicago River and adjacent to a three-acre park in the renowned River North community.

River Village is a 180-unit development of loft condominiums and townhomes carved from approximately four square blocks of former industrial landscape along the east bank of the Chicago River. The project features a one-acre park as well as affordable units and a large river walk in a natural landscaped setting.
